Meet the Doctors

Dr. Ali

Medical Training:

Dr. Ali graduated with Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained his Medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Ali completed a year of internship at St. Luke’s Medical Center before attaining a graduate medical education in Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. After 2 years of  practice in general medical-and-surgical Ophthalmology in Illinois, Dr. Ali pursued fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, Anterior Segment, and Refractive surgery at Price Vision Group-Indianapolis with Dr. Frank Price; one of the pioneers of modern Posterior lamellar Keratoplasty.

Dr. Ali has a special interest in medical and surgical management of anterior segment disorders. Dr. Ali practiced in Denver, Colorado before deciding to move his family to the DFW metroplex. His extensive experience has produced an extremely talented surgeon in his field of Ophthalmology.  

Dr. Ali is married with four children ranging from the ages 2 to 15 years. He enjoys spending time with family and travelling internationally for medical missions.

Memberships and Certifications:

Dr. Ali is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery. He is a member of American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of multiple state ophthalmic societies.

Dr. Dhaliwal is excited to join the team at Texas Eye Surgeons! She grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and is proud to bring her skillset back home to serve the greater DFW community.

Medical Training:

Dr. Dhaliwal graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma as a part of the selective Medical Humanities Scholars Program (sequential BA/MD track). After completing her undergraduate studies she went on to earn her medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine. Following this she completed an internal medicine internship year at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Dhaliwal returned to Texas for residency training in ophthalmology at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, where she had the privilege of serving as chief resident in her final year. Post residency, Dr. Dhaliwal completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the prestigious Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah.

Dr. Dhaliwal’s practice encompasses comprehensive ophthalmology as well as the surgical and medical treatment of cornea and anterior segment disorders, including dry eye, refractive surgery (LASIK and PRK), and corneal transplantation.

In her free time Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and outdoor activities (running, hiking, and skiing).
